This is our Weekly Picking Update (not our regular newsletter.) A few days before the weekend we check the vineyard and make notes of ripening conditions. It is not a guarantee of what is available, but what the typical picking conditions are.

Grapes are Earlier this year! Don't Wait!

This is week 5 of 6 that we are open - our season is short so mark your calendars & visit us. Many people print this newsletter & bring it to the vineyard with them to act as a picking guide. Remember we are only open Friday, Saturday & Sunday and not during the week.

COMMODITY PRICES U-Pick Grapes 1-19 lbs. .80/lb. ½ bu (20 lbs.) or more .65/lb. 5 bu (200 lbs.) or more .60/lb. 10 bu. (400 lbs.) or more .50/lb. 2000 lb or more    .45/lb Crusher/stemmer rent   .05/lb (An average person can pick from 1 to 3 bu/hr - bring lots of friends) 2 bushel (80lb) makes 5+ gal wine Grape Pails (strainer bag included) 2 gallon grape pail @ $24 (16lb of crushed/destemed grapes) 5 gallon grape pail @ $45 (40lb of crushed/destemed grapes) Call (810) 796-3253 in the evenings to order grape pails or email us.

Delaware (Red) - Rows 68 to 70 - Lot of Delaware left
Concord (Black) - Rows 1, 2, 48 & 49 - Large crop left

Many seedless grapes suffered bird damage but we still have lots left at the far ends of the rows.

Himrod - Rows 20 & 21 - Mostly gone - but you can still check
