Winemaking Record Keeping
I just moved 4 - 5 gallon carboys of
wine from my barn to the basement and got to thinking about the
25 year old winerecords worksheet that I have been using.
In this new digital age there must be something more recent or
usefull, mine was printed on an old mimeograph machine by a neighbor
many years ago.
I checked for more recent ones on google & found lots of
interesting things, from programs to printable worksheets. I think
the best one would be made by a program such as Microsoft Excell,
that can easily be revised and updated for every wine that you
make.
What record sheet do you use? Please share samples of what is usefull
to you and we will put them in our next newsletter. I will try to
make one up also.

Winemaker 5.0
This WineMaker program helps amateur winemakers with all the necessary
arithmetics that need to be done when making wine. It saves the
user a lot of guesswork and helps to tune the process to its ultimate
goal: a nice bottle of Wine. All the user has to do is to tell WineMaker
how much of an ingredient he has and what type of wine he wants
to make. In addition to the Standard ingredients the user can also
input his own measurement data as a starting point (even half way
of the process) for the calculations.
